Nutty Honey Maple Granola

Ingredients

dry ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • ¾ cup sliced almonds
  • ¾ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

wet ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • cup maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

optional ingredients

  • ½ cup dried cherries (or dried fruit of your choice)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spread dry ingredients on a sheet pan.
  • Place wet ingredients in sauce pan and heat until butter is just melted, whisking to combine. Or place butter in large glass measuring cup and microwave until melted; whisk in other wet ingredients.
  • Drizzle wet ingredients over dry ingredients and stir or toss with hands to combine thoroughly. Spread evenly on sheet pan.
  • Bake 20-30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Stir in dried cherries. Let cool.
  • Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
  • Enjoy!
